Note to 143: The rebuilding of the church was ordered on 27 October (GL, MS 25540/1, fol. 58), and the mason's contract signed on 9 December (GL, MS 25542/2, fol. 6). This drawing shows the N elevation. The design is 88 ft 9 in. wide. The church was demolished in 1876–77 (Colvin 1995, 1094).
